Kerry Gilbert

I am an actor, comedian and writer with over 20 years’ experience performing live comedy and acting on stage, screen and voiceover.

I’ve acted across BBC One, Two and Three and ITV1 in sitcoms, sketch comedy, childrens TV, and period drama, filming roles with household names including Jimmy Carr, Katherine Ryan, Suranne Jones and Jon Richardson; as well as recording numerous commercial campaigns, audiobooks and video games.

My TV credits include ITV’s Vanity Fair, BBC1 sitcom Life of Riley, BBC3 sketch show TittyBangBang and a recurring role as ‘Pauline the Dinner Lady’ - my own comic creation - on Dick and Dom’s Funny Business (BBC2).

I love using my vocal chameleon skills, to bring characters and stories to life for listeners young and old.

I have voiced the last three audiobooks for New York Times best-selling author Sophie Cousens (The Good Part, And Then There Was You, and Is She Really Going Out With Him, voicing large casts of characters in Sophie’s brilliantly funny romantic comedies.‍ ‍

I have also had the joy of narrating numerous children’s classics for the innovative MeBooks storytelling app, original audio content for Toniebox, and the soon-to-be-released kids novel Lily Tripp - Diary of an Accidental Time-Traveller by Amelia Tait.

I also recently recorded BBC Historian Lucy Worsley’s fascinating non-fiction book If Walls Could Talk: An Intimate History of The Home.

My commercial credits include radio, TV and digital campaigns for Etsy, Panasonic, Magic FM, IKEA, Skoda, Peugeot, Curry’s PC and Activia.

I live in beautiful Stroud in Gloucestershire, where I have a professional home studio setup, but also have bases in London and Bristol and am very happy to travel to external studios if you prefer to work with me in person.
